makeup rubric, on the first Tuesday of the year!
A semana passada tivemos como tema “Skin
Detox” e hoje temos “Lip Detox”, porque tal como a nossa pele, os nossos lábios
também se ressentem com tanta maquilhagem. Na altura das festividades apostamos
em batons mais fortes e durante mais tempo e com a azáfama acabamos por
descorar um pouco os cuidados que os nossos lábios devem ter. Por isso, hoje
vamos falar de tratamento SOS para os lábios.
Last week we had the theme "Skin Detox" and today we have
"Lip Detox", because just like our skin, our lips also resent themselves with so much
makeup. In the time of festivities we bet on stronger and lasting lipsticks
and with the bustle we end up forgetting the care that our lips demand.
So today let's talk about SOS treatment for lips.
O primeiro passo é desmaquilhar e como sabem
este é um passo muito importante. Como os nossos lábios estão mais sensíveis,
devemos utilizar um desmaquilhante que não seja agressivo para estes. Dou-vos o exemplo de dois produtos que uso há
algum tempo e adoro.
The first step is
to remove the makeup and as you know this is a very important step. Because our lips are
more sensitive, we should use a cleanser that is not aggressive. I'll give you an
example of two products that I have been using for some time and that I love.
O
primeiro produto é o desmaquilhante da Thalgo. Este é especial para olhos e
lábios e assim não agride a pele. Com uma fórmula especial para peles
delicadas, desenvolvida à base de algas roxas, é ideal para peles sensíveis. É
também à prova de água, removendo assim toda a maquilhagem, até a mais aderente.
The first product is the cleanser by Thalgo. This is special for eyes
and lips and it doesn’t harm the skin. With a special formula for delicate
skins, developed with purple algae, it's ideal for sensitive skin. It’s also
waterproof, so it removes all the makeup, even the more adherent one.
O
produto seguinte é algo mais acessível monetariamente. É o desmaquihagem
Eyes&Lips da já conhecida marca italiana KIKO. Este é muito semelhante ao
produto anterior, mas mais barato, o que nos convém bastante. É adequado para
peles sensíveis e remove facilmente toda a maquilhagem.
The following product is something cheaper. It's the Eyes &
Lips makeup remover by the well known Italian brand KIKO. This one is very similar
to the previous product, but cheaper, which suits us well. It’s suitable
for sensitive skin and it easily removes all the makeup.
O passo seguinte é a esfoliação. De tempos a
tempos devemos dedicar algum tempo especialmente aos nossos lábios e um dos
cuidados essenciais é a esfoliação destes. Assim obtemos uns lábios bonitos e
sem peles, algo que todas as mulheres querem. Não devemos esfoliar os lábios
todos os dias, porque nesta zona a pele é mais sensível e assim acabaríamos por
agredi-la.
The next step is exfoliation. From time to time we should devote
some time especially to our lips and one of the essential care is their
exfoliation. Thus we obtain beautiful and peeled lips, something
that all women want. We should not exfoliate the lips every day, because in
this area the skin is more sensitive and so we would end up harming it.

Este é um batôm exfoliante da marca ELF. Basta
passá-lo várias vezes pelos lábios e em movimentos circulares para esfoliar

The next product is something more natural. It’s the lip scrub by Lush.
These scrubs are special for the lips, so don’t be afraid to use and abuse
of them. They are made with real sugar and there are several flavors,
all of them delicious. Besides being good it is also eatable. A revolutionary and sweet idea, don’t you think? This product is available in any
Lush store.
O passo seguinte e último é a hidratação.
Depois de todo o processo de “desintoxicação” devemos hidratar muito bem os
nossos lábios. Assim conseguimos manter os nossos lábios protegidos e o efeito
dos cuidados anteriores será mais duradouro.
The next and last step is hydration. After the process of
"detoxification" we need to hydrate our lips very well. This way we can keep
our lips protected and the effect from the previous steps will be more durable.

hidratantes labiais para os testar e agora falar um pouco sobre eles.
For some time I've been acquiring several lip moisturizers in order to test
them and now talk a little bit about them.
O primeiro produto é algo que eu já conhecia e
de que já vos tinha falado. É o lip balm da EOS. Além da sua divertida e
diferente forma, é fácil de transportar. Este EOS é bastante hidratante e a sua
sensação dura bastante tempos nos lábios. Podem encontrar diferentes aromas e

The first product is something that I already knew and that we had
already spoken here. It's the EOS lip balm. Besides its fun and different shape, it’s
easy to carry. This EOS is very moisturizing and lasts a long time on the

O produto seguinte foi algo que experimentei
primeiramente só para vocês. É a nova linha Lip Butter da Nivea. A minha é a Raspberry
Rosé, mas existem 4 deliciosas opções no mercado. Gostei bastante desta lip
butter, é bastante hidratante e deixa um bonito tom rosado nos lábios. Este produto ainda não está à venda em Portugal mas podem encontrá-lo na Neon Cosmetics (aqui), que foi onde eu comprei o meu.
The following product I first experienced it just for you. It's
the new line of Lip Butter by Nivea. Mine is Raspberry Rosé, but there are 4
delicious choices on the market. I really liked this lip butter, it's very
moisturizing and leaves a beautiful shade of pink on the lips. This product is not for sale in Portugal but you can find it in Neon Cosmetics (here), where I bought mine.
O próximo produto é o hidratante labial
Carmex. Já ouvi falar milagres sobre este produto e estava super curiosa para
experimentar. Claro que o comprei! Optei pela edição original, mas com esta
embalagem tipo bisnaga. O seu produto é uma espécie de gel-creme e digo-vos
meninas, é espantoso! Super hiper hidratante e adoro-o! Existe em diferentes
aromas e formatos. Podem encontrá-lo também na Lojinha da Janina.
The next product is the Carmex lip moisturizer. I've heard wonders about
this product and I was super curious to try it. Of course I bought it! I chosed
the original edition, but with this tube packaging. This product is a kind
of gel-cream and I tell you girls, it's amazing! Super hyper moisturizing and I
love it! It exists in different flavors and shapes. You may also find it in Lojinha da Janina.
Comprei este produto mesmo só para
experimentar. É um condicionador labial para uso diário. Feito à base de
produtos naturais, este pequeno boião é bastante bom. Não é tão hidratante como
parece, quanto a isso decepcionou-me, mas acabei por gostar. Até porque uns
segundos após a sua aplicação, começam a sentir uma sensação fresca nos lábios,
como que um refrescante labial. Estou a pensar guardá-lo para o Verão.
I bought this product just to try. It’s a lip conditioner for daily
use. Made from natural products, this little jar is quite good. Not so moisturizing
as it seems, in that point it disappointed me, but I ended up liking it. A few
seconds after applying it, we start to feel a cool sensation on the lips, like a
refreshing lipstick. I
am thinking of saving it for Summer.
Para uns lábios bonitos e desejáveis, temos
de tratar deles e dedicar-lhes algum tempo. Depois da época das festividades,
em que os agredimos com batons e outros tipos de maquilhagem, temos de lhes dar
um pouco de descanso e atenção. O frio típico desta altura do ano é também um
factor de agressão para os lábios. Por isso temos de cuidar muito bem deles.
For beautiful and desirable lips, we must treat them and dedicate some time to them. After the season of festivities, in which we damaged them with lipsticks
and other makeup, we should give them a little rest and attention. The typical cold
of this time of year is also a factor of aggression to the lips. So we have to
take very good care of them.
